Public Information Act (PIA) Requests

The City of Helotes responds to PIA Requests within 10 business days of receiving the request. A fee of $0.10 per page applies to all general public information. If applicable, additional fees for affidavits, postage, supplies, and video footage will also be assessed. The City Secretary’s Office will provide an itemized statement of charges to the requestor. Payment and record retrieval are done at the Development Services (Permits) Department window inside City Hall.

If you are seeking to obtain a medical report on a patient, please use the EMS Report Request Form.

If you are seeking to obtain an accident (crash) report or incident report only, please use the Police Report Request Form.

The City Secretary’s Office accepts written PIA requests by the following methods:
